Purgatory is hope

 

I know I am not a Saint, theologian, or anyone special at any level, yet I do know people need to hear the truth. And if it ticks you off to hear that Purgatory offers hope then you may need to rethink some things.

Purgatory is hope because it still offers the knowledge that eventually you will spend eternity with God’s love.

Hell is death and I am not the first to say that, yet once you spend eternity without God’s love you have died. You may live in eternity in constant angst and everything else, but you live without love and joy forever.

I may spend a higher percentage of eternity in purgatory than heaven, but I will still have hope.

And for people who understand percentages and who know there can never be a measurable 100% with the concept of eternity, then you know how much I am saying.
