It is just a hypothesis, but I had it long before I began reading that book

 

So if you follow real closely on Substack this will make more sense than if you read from the other platforms I use, yet you will g understand it all anyway.

I had to take a break from reading the massive amounts of non fiction I have enveloped myself into and read for some entertainment purposes to relax my brain. I accidentally ran across a science fiction book called “Anathem”. It is not an easy read if you spend the time exploring the detail of the world the author, Neal Stephenson, creates. If like me, you are just reading the story and let the details slide to the side and view them as you journey along without stopping to explore; it is an interesting book or let’s say story.

Not that I have anything published, yet I have lots of fiction written in various states and my style is to write the story first then expand it or deepen it or broaden it. You can choose your adverb of what I am doing, or maybe writing expansively or is it the writing is expansive an adjective. You know folks this stuff is hard, lol. So let’s get to the science and science fiction.

None of that matters and I want to say upfront, years ago I posted a similar idea that Mr. Stephenson uses in his book that the cosmos rotate.

I didn’t say it that way. I said our universe is rotating. Since then I have thought more on this thought and believe it is rotating or will be rotating. How do I come to that conclusion?

First I believe before the big bang that whatever energy that led up to the big bang was rotating, yet in all directions. Imagine a ball, a ball of what I do not know, say energy and it spinning, yet not on axis like our planet. So in its spin it is rotating so what was once on top is now on the side and this doesn’t move in any lockstep fashion. It is swirling and spinning around waiting to be released.

So the big bang happens and everything goes outward, yet not in a straight line as from what little I know people tend to think as such. Or I get that impression based on we put up the James Webb telescope to look back in time like it is a straight line.

In my eyes it doesn’t go in a straight line and since I do not study physics or any other discipline deeply I have no idea how off base I am from other thinking or if others have thought about this.

In my eyes since the energy was spinning, everything threw off into an ever expanding curve that has or will eventually revolve around the center from which the big bang happened.

If you can picture the visual instead of outward expanding lines from a center you have a center where the outward expanding lines begin to curve to slowly create an orbit. Now does the orbit grow from the center as time goes on, ie the original outward lines curve around and then continue to curve around itself or does it find an orbital path that the material we now see such as galaxies are beginning to fall into orbit or as most that I read suggest it is continuing to expand. The difference is not straight lines, but slowly circular lines that continue around the center but each time it goes round it is further away. I think it is this latter curve and expanding orbit is what is happening.

I made my original observation of this thought years ago in this blog. I am not going to go back and try and find it unless it becomes important somehow. I am expanding on my original hypothesis since some articles I have read concerning what the James Webb Space telescope is seeing is that objects such as galaxies are more developed than the models suggest in the time line we think we know.

Or if we look straight back, the galaxies blow up many theories on our first thoughts of what happened with the big bang and how long it took for matter, hence stars then galaxies to develop. Yet if we look back through a curve expansion then the time line is different and galaxies may seem like they are closer to the big bang in time constructs, but actually further along the evolutionary scale of universe development even though they appear closer to the big bang because we are seeing them go from the big bang then march outward and start to go around.

 

 

Word keeps wanting to correct my shapes in its auto programming so this is very crude since I am trying to bypass it trying to tell me what to do. The second sketch is if we have already reached an orbit type model. The first is we haven’t reached and ongoing orbit with matter yet.

As described above I think we are still in the above or first diagram and who knows if it ever curves around, but it is headed that way.

I drew two lines around to show multiple or layered growth. The direction doesn’t matter, it is what the direction that occurred when the actual energy was released. Picture us along either one of the curves trying to look back. We see galaxies that are more on the developmental timeline than what we see if we think we are looking straight back. All this is just a hypothesis because hey why not.

 

So is all this because I want to prove a point that I thought of the idea of rotating cosmos before a well known science fiction writer. Or am I just procrastinating on working on My Journey through City of God. Finally I do want to say I am working on a science fiction novel myself, yet it deals with a whole different set of science fiction fun and theories.
