The kids always ask what I want for Christmas and I tell them peace on earth.
This year I also ask that we all remember that we are all part of the human race here together and maybe to show a bit more civility to each other. Find a bit of compassion for each other and see what we can do to help each other.
Today is the day we celebrate the birth of the person who gave us the “golden rule” so why not start today by treating everyone you meet wherever you go with love and respect. It may seem a bit much to ask nowadays, but if you really want to celebrate Christmas and the birth of our Savior then that would be the greatest gift you could give to him.
Just a simple thought for a simple birth.
