So a few quick hits on various topics to get me through.
Glad the Mavs didn’t make any trades other than the injury driven needed one. Will it still be tough for the Mavericks to be title contenders this year? Yes, but still believe we need to find the right core who have bought into the next couple to few years and build that consistency then add the difference-making piece if even needed.
President Trump is probably one of the first real victims of affluenza. He grew up without any accountability to anyone except Dad maybe, but he managed to obtain the virus long before anyone labeled the disease.
2020 is more like Italy in the 1920′s than going into the future. We have a wannabe dictator versus the serious potential for some type of socialist candidate. And this wannabe dictator will be backed by the modern version of the industrialists even though they know the country’s future may be bleak under him, yet would rather have that than any sniff of socialism. And with all the hatred and divisiveness in this country, the street fighting may soon come next. People were making this analogy 4 years ago and it is even truer now. The one-percenters need to realize a moderate candidate is really their best bet even if it means giving back some of their tax breaks.
I started this post more than an hour ago and just got this far with too many interruptions. Time for my bedtime, but I will be back again.
And maybe somewhat soon there will be my third short story on Smashwords. I say somewhat soon because as you know dear reader my self-discipline is highly lacking. I did reach out and gave one to an acquaintance who says they like to edit work. We will see. They may shoot me down completely.
