Some more things

Well, where do we start?

It took 162 games, but way to go Rangers. And it was well worth the wait. Tomorrow begins a new season.

My daughter made the observation, chlorine pools and cigarettes is the smell of Las Vegas.  Hmmm not quite completely sure about that one, but worth mentioning

I saw a headline that says Rupert Murdoch says Ben Carson would be a real black President. What does that mean and why can’t we just say Ben Carson will be a real President?

There is much discussion about climate change, if it exists, and if so is it man created. The head of the IMF is getting in on the act.  How come no one is talking about what happens (man influenced or not) when the sea levels do rise and some coastal cities are changed or flooded? Or what exactly are we going to do? Sell beachfront property in Orlando? Is there anyone doing more than saying: “this is bad”? I have always said fossil fuel by products are killing us and it has nothing to do with climate change. And yes I also do know we would not be able to quit fossil fuels over night, but why can’t the political will come about to make the obvious transformation. There are so many benefits to moving forward that it befuddles me we can’t.

Huffington Post had an article stating it is now time for Mr. Trump to put up or shut up. They were talking about him spending his own money to start to really pull away in the race. In some ways they might be correct.

Some observational ironies. And this one has probably already been said: Irony is winning the lotto on the day you retire.

A doctor told me I have to do what most people my age can’t do and still want to do. I have no desire to do it.  Eat more salt.

They are filming a mini series in downtown Dallas from the book 11-22-1963. Streets around Dealey Plaza were closed. Someone forgot to tell everyone that drives to work in downtown. Traffic was an absolute disaster the first day. It made the news so now everyone knows and traffic is much better.

Will Biden run? That seems to be the question of the week. As you now I have always said the Democrats better find someone else than Hillary and have been saying it for a long time now.

And just for poops and grins, are we going to get a Cruz v Sanders race next year? Talk about the hard extremes. And it seems the middle class looks up from its lost American Dream and wonders why someone doesn’t do anything about this.
