Failing to avoid the obvious

How many cabin fever articles or posts have you read?

How many cartoons of an old man standing there with a fart noise coming out the back end talking about successful social distancing have you seen?

Okay, I haven’t seen Trump today, yet yesterday CNN was saying this has changed him. I don’t know; some consistency around him acting like he has changed would be nice, yet I am betting that if the Casinos in Las Vegas were still open you could ask for odds on who is going to take the blame. There will be a scapegoat or scapegoats, no doubt.
The obvious contenders are the Democrats in general, the media in general, Pelosi, Obama, maybe Obama/Biden, or China. So give this group the favorite odds like 5-1 to 2-1.
The next level candidates are someone in his administration he doesn’t like, Congress in general, the intelligence agencies, the governors didn’t act soon enough but he did or a specific Governor,  someone in HHS or Dr.Adams, the Surgeon General, Dr. Fauci (cause he is upstaging the President, yet not by his design), Dr. Birx (she is a woman and that cannot fly for too long), or some European countries. We are looking up to 12-1 maybe, 15-1?
And then there are the long shots, and that may include a target on Fox News he isn’t happy with or fallen out of favor, some Republicans not named Romney, or South Korea since they are getting positive press about how they are handling it. 20, 30, 50-1? There are probably others but going with this for now.

Or is it I am going to miss the Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown this year? We already lost March Madness. The action has dried up in this country. Anyone ready to fly to Macau yet?

Okay if mine and the better half’s jobs hold we will definitely use the $1200.00 and go out and do some consuming, especially of the out to eat variety, clothes shopping, movie-going and more. Yes some bills will get paid or tad extra to savings, but honestly once it is safe to go back in the water we are going back into the water a bit.

Cheers
